Good Afternoon,

The good news is we are moving along with steady pace and close enough to the finish to get excited. The breeze started to fill in enough during Monday morning for us to deploy the big A2 running kite. The A2 is one of our favorites and has made gains for us whenever we have used it. However, we raised the sail with a little trepidation to take a look at the results of a repair. We blew the tack patch the foot tape and the luff tape off on the way to Charleston (so there we were kite up doing solid 22k.... oopps sorry that's a story for another time). The sail maker had done a great job for us and "Big White" is as good as new and with the breeze out of 280 at 4-7kts, pulled for us all day. Right on night fall the wind shifted to the north so we changed gears to the Code Zero and waited for some good pressure. About 2am this morning the pressure built to a solid 10kts from 330 and i hope that it is an end to the fickle patchy stuff (touch Wood). It looks like the competition has made good gains in the north so were pretty happy to be moving. We did have a visit form some dolphins last evening, the only sea life besides jellyfish we have seen this trip, although i think we literarily bumped into some on Saturday night.
